All right folks, now a brand new Bloodstains compilation and this time we focus the likeable Austria punk years 1978-1987 and we meet twenty-four divine examples from the beautiful Alps Republic and some of these rare goodies you can find in this blog - Snotty punk, melodic wave and rocking bangers shake hands and illustrate how versatile and colorful the Austrian scene was at that time. That's why I got the idea to pay tribute to them with this nice compilation (otherwise nobody else will do it). That's just a small selection of great bands but I'm very satisfied with the result and the liner notes and I don't wanna say thx at this point, those are hereby most cordially greeted and I hope you enjoy it!

Third part of this damn cool mini-serie which came via 77 Records to us. Eighteen rare UK smasher from 1977-1982. I know a quarter of the songs, the rest is new and I guess that their 7Inches appeared on small short-lived labels, or self-released, in small editions. Very good compilation in any case and the first two volumes can be found on the Posts By Country section which I re-upped. England Belongs To Me is presentable and in total there exist four of them (all strictly limited, I guess 500-1000 were pressed). Excellent Friday sound!

A very cool re-release is this pretty round disc and both records were originally released in 1982 and 1983 by the legendary short-lived English label No Future Records and we all know the classics. On these both compilations we enjoy some bands which didn't made a record and some published their stuff that is in demand today. V/A - Russia Bombs Finland 1982

The perfect sound for a Monday comes today from Finland, more precisely by Helsinki's Propaganda label (specializes mainly in Finnish hardcore, punk and much more) that gave birth to this fantastic compilation over thirty-seven years ago and has not lost any of its hardness and fresh sound in my opinion. All bands are likely known to every maniac of fast-paced short songs, you can find some records in the blog, and for those who want to discover this heart attack noises for themselves this record is an excellent start, I promise. And if you don't have enough of this plenty harsh stuff I recommend you the essential Killed By Finnish Hardcore compilation by Redrum Records... b.t.w. the first 500 copies came partly with booklet which I don't have.

Pretty awesome tape from Mothra Productions with thirty five bands from around the world with huge tophits. Excellent selection I can only say!, a brilliant Hardcore Punk onslaught pulled by rare 7Inches and other secret sources with nice little info-sheet makes this an excellent stew with hot spices and bite-sized chunks, add a slice of rye bread and beer and it's done... but beware! breaks through well, so don't forget toilet paper.

Da isser, Part VI und zuerst meinen aufrichtigen Dank! an Reinhard welcher mir dieses schnuckelische Teil randvoll mit rarem deutschen Untergrund 1981-1989 für meine kleine Reihe zur Verfügung stellte und damit Euch und mir eine kleine Freude bereitet. Nach meinen kurzen Post-Punk Ausflug mit Positive Energie tummeln sich hier 27 Bands die ich teilweise kenne mit Songs von raren Demos, Singles & Alben die eher unbekannt sind. Der Titel dazu fiel mir ein als ich mit einer Killed By Death Compilation beschäftigt war und das Cover schon fertig hatte, doch jetzt finde ich ihn bißchen doof, ich hatte andere Ideen doch da ich mir nix aufschreibe hab ich sie vergessen, egal. Das Artwork gefällt und hier seht ihr meinen ersten Iro im zarten Alter von, tja... ich glaube einem Jahr. Wie immer interessiert mich Eure Meinung und ich bin dankbar für zahlreiche Kommentare. Der nächste Teil wird kommen und bis dahin wünsche ich Euch angenehmen Hörgenuß hiermit. 

Part VI of my small serie 'Rare German Underground', this time with stuff from the Eighties, taken again from rare Demos, Singles & Albums and first of all, my sincere thanks! to Reinhard which gave me this cute part brimming with rare German underground 1981-1989 for my little series available and thus you and me a little joy. The title came to mind when I was busy with a Killed By Death compilation and had already finished the cover, but now I find its a little stupid, I had other ideas but since I don't write anything down I've forgotten, no matter, the artwork pleases and you can see my first Iro at the tender age of, well ... V/A - Thesaurus #2 (Rock/Punk En France 1977-1979)

Second Volume of Thesaurus on Cameleon Records with rare goodies of the early French punk era, cobbled together on a double album with deatiled infos on the gatefold sleeve (unfortunately not within and I would be pleased about good scans). In addition to well-known songs that are almost always found contains this compilation many, for me, new interesting bands which made only a 7Inch or a demo but the numerous French posts in this blog make clear how big the underground scene was in this country and not only focussing on punk, also decent rock'n'roll comes from there and also wave, post-punk or garage stuff (see Volume 1), bla bla bla..... And now: open ears for twenty-eight glorious stars and have fun browsing the singles, should one be down leave a comment, I'll fix it immediately.

We travel far into the north of Europe to the land of 1000 lakes, dense forests and icy temperatures. Numerous famous hardcore/punk bands enriched us with terrific records and on this little compilation thirty of them are selected and was assembled by three American fans of Finnish Hardcore. "We did this out of our love of the music and to expose these records, which are not widely known outside of Finland to a wider audience. We would like to think we are helping expose these bands to a new geneartion of punx, making it possible for bands to re-issue more classic material. 2000 copies were pressed, comes with detailed info sheet". Thx for that and now enjoy raw, rare Hardcore 1981-1985.

V/A - Positive Energie [New German Underground] 2018

Wie bereits vor einigen Tagen von mir angekündigt jetzt ein weiteres Highlight in diesen, von Euch allen geliebtem Blog, mit einer compilation die diesmal mit neuen Sounds aus heimischen Landen der Jahre 2011-2018 bestückt ist. Part V, nach Trotzdem Süß, meiner kleinen Serie rarer deutscher Musik und wir tummeln uns hier im Punk, Post-Punk bis Alternative und Rock Sektor mit Bands die zum Teil schon Singles, Alben oder nur Demos am Start haben, einiges erhältlich bei This Charming Man, dem independent label aus Münster mit massig heißem Stoff aus aller Welt. Weekend knocks, final day in November and I throw this colorless month out with twenty essential punk rock blasts, so let's wring the neck of California in this case and we travel back in time to the early 80s where all those rare sound documents were made in shabby little studios without a plan, out from the belly, pure emotion. Side A starts a bit lame and disoriented, a little soft whispering and I'm struggling to get not drunk, on the other hand, I have to buckle up at Side 2 so as not to fly through the windscreen. In a scale of ten points as top grade I would give 7,5. Well, in any case interesting mixture anyway.

Holy Shit, Warning!! Punk is exactly what it is: two hundred and ten minutes, spread on three CD's with over fifty Swedish bands, a mammoth marathon attack that comes in excellent layout with detailed informations about all songs/bands. Lots of rare stuff on board from tapes, 7Inches or anywhere else. I think together with the English and German bands, Sweden is the country with one of the largest and most variable punk culture in Europe, this is reflected in the large number of publications then and now, the current doesn't want to demolish. I hope you have enough seatmeat and be ready for hardcore/punk of the finest quality. Time for the 13:20 tea!
