Find Websites Copying your content: Secret Google Technique

Content copying is serious problem for professional bloggers. If somebody use your content without letting you know then nothing irritates you more than that. But good thing is that we can avoid it just by taking some simple precautions.
I used word precautions, because i am not going to ask you to use a widget or script to stop this. The purpose of this post is to be helpful to new bloggers who are not so tech-savvy.

So here we go :
Step 1: Use name of your blog or website in each post. There is no need to hyperlink it. Just use plain name. As i can use bestrix.blogspot.com. Now if someone copies your content, then most probably your blog/website name will be there. Because such copycats only remove links (as they appear blue). They don't have time read complete post and edit it.
Step 2: Now search for your site name "bestrix.blogspot.com" (with inverted commas) on google once in a week (Like shown in the image below). On first few pages you will find links of your own site. But afterwards you might find sites which are copying your content.
Step 3: Now suppose you find a site "duplicate.com" and you want check how many posts it has copied.
Now you have to search for site:duplicate.com "bestrix.blogspot.com" .
Step 4: Now you can contact these website admins to remove those posts. If they don't then you can ask google to remove them from their SERP.

We will discuss it on our next post that how you can get copy-cat websites removed from search results of google.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. Apple iPad Mini, Tough Fight!

As expected, Samsung Electronics introduced a new 8-inch tablet on Saturday at Mobile World Congress, named Galaxy note 8, intended to compete directly with Apple’s 7.9-inch iPad Mini and Google’s 7-inch Nexus 7.

Just like other Samsung’s other tablets, the new tablet comes with a stylus pen which allows the user to write, highlight or draw on the screen and is capable of showing multiple apps on the screen at the same time just like the previous Samsung galaxy s3 or note 2. Today, we will compare the specs and other features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and Apple iPad mini.

Size
Samsung galaxy note 8 vs. Apple iPad mini size
Compared the 7.9-inch iPad mini, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 is a bit larger in every dimension.

Weight
Samsung galaxy note 8 vs. Apple iPad mini weight
Today’s high advanced manufacturing technology has made both devices relatively light, but the iPad mini is 30g lighter than the Note 8.0.

Display
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. Apple iPad Mini display
In this aspect, The Note 8.0’s display is a bit sharper, at 189 pixels per inch (PPI).

Processor

To make sure everything runs smoothly, Samsung’s galaxy Note 8.0 powers with its Exynos 4 Quad chip, the same one found in Samsung’s phablet, the Galaxy Note II ,.
Apple gave the iPad mini a last-generation A5 chip, first introduced in 2011's iPad 2.

RAM
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. Apple iPad Mini RAM
The Note 8.0 quadruples the iPad mini’s mere 512 MB of RAM.

Storage
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. Apple iPad Mini storage
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will come in 32GB and 64GB versions. Samsung throw the 16GB model away for the Galaxy note 8, but has a microSD card slot, unlike Apple’s mini-tablet.

Wireless
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. Apple iPad Mini wireless
Both tablets ship in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + mobile data models. At least in some regions, Samsung's will be LTE-capable. Apple also offers a (pricier) LTE iPad mini.
But the Note 8 support make phone calls in some regions.

Battery
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. Apple iPad Mini battery
Samsung’s note 8 (4600 mAh) has a big battery than the iPad mini (4440 mAh). But you should remember many other factors also determine actual battery life.

Cameras
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs. Apple iPad Mini camera
Samsung and Apple both realize the Cameras are rarely the most important part of a tablet. Both of them offer a 5-megapixel rear camera for the two devices. The Note 8 has a 1.3 MP front facing camera while the iPad mini has a 1.2MP front facing camera.

Intangibles
The unique pens on the Note 8 can be used to write, highlight and draw. The screens also sense when the mouse hovers over the screen, providing an equivalent to the hovering mouse cursor on the PC. However, few third-party applications have been modified to take full advantage of the pens.

Android’s tablet app selection is improving, but here iOS is still King. Apple now had over 275,000 iPad-specific apps in the App Store. Google Play's selection often defaults to stretched-out phone apps. Fortunately, these will look a bit better on an 8-inch screen than on a 10-inch tablet. I give the huge advantage to Apple in this area.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 will be available for purchase in the second quarter of this year, Samsung said. The company did not list a detailed price for the device while now the iPad Mini costs $330. So which one is your favor? Welcome to Show your thoughts below.

Easy professional translations for YouTube video captioning

This quick-tip is about an extension to YouTube's captioning service. It's relevant to bloggers who focus strongly on videos as a complement to their blog content.

quick-tips logo
In Septemeber 2012, YouTube introduced a feature that let you or your friend translate the captions of videos (that you own) into additional languages.

Now they've partnered with some professional translation firms so you can get a quote, order, receive and pay for professional translation - all within YouTube / Google.    So you don't have to worry about whether your friend's high-school Spanish is really good enough for your international audience!

The first step to doing this is uploading a transcript file for your video. Something to bear in mind if you do this:  If SEO matters for your blog, then you probably don't want to put the transcript into both YouTube and the blog, because that would create duplicate content.
