Trading Tips: 5 Habits Of Successful Forex Traders
I got an article published on FXstreet and I want to share the five habits that you need to implement in your trading those are five things that pretty much all the guests my podcast of all implemented in trading. They've all done this in the past i want to show those five habits and i'll start with the first one First habit is to mentally prepare yourself every single day.
Whenever you come in the market in the morning you have to mentally prepare yourself. That might mean looking back at your setup, looking back at your best trades to make sure you review your plan on doing any action or this meditation taking a walk going outside exercising to mentally prepare yourself because if you're not clear mentally and what you have to trade your gonna trade while that's just part of it successful traders understand this and they do something to be the best state whenever they want to trade you can have it to ask yourself a very simple question at the beginning of every trade when i'll be looking at trade at the end of the week how will I feel about taking that train without feel bad or well if you proud of it and if you can ask yourself one simple question and the beginning of every trade you get the state where you really think about what are you trying to spread the plan what are you really doing the right thing and also some people would take trades and possibly don't think it's just interest rate is one dr with emotion they want to trade you one of the not come and they want to make money but if you can just stop for a second or two and think like you're proud at the end of the week well I feel like I did everything I could well I feel like I respect into plan is also getting the feeling of respect new plan is much more rewarding than the feeling of n-3 many trays right when you follow the plan and you happy with it it's much more rewarding then simply wanting to enter minute rates so that's the second habit asking yourself this question third habit is about planning and review if you're not planning your week and if you're not doing your trade at the end of the week you're missing out on the big piece here because most illustrators in fact or sterling are just going to trade they're going to look at their P&L and that's it they're going to say well i'm going to trader I'd money or I'm a bad traitor last money but the goal here and the habit in to implement is to start planning your week first of all look at what's ahead in the week with music coming out what markets you could trade what with the graphic telling you what the second part is to analyze and track what everything you do is a losing trade a winning trade the goal here is to put all your eggs in one place together and to look at them ideas a week then you classify them or a good winning trade because losing trade the bad winning trade and the bad losing trade if you can split your trades in those four categories are more able to see what you did wrong when you have bad trades and the batteries until they're losing trade you might have some perfect grades while executed well done that are losing drain and that's totally fine but you need to classify them then you work on insulating the batteries and focusing on the good trades but that's easy way to know exactly what to focus on you know what you're doing wrong but you do not track anything or if you do not plan advanced there's no way for you to move forward so that's what happened planning and review for habit is recognizing when you to stop there's a point where trade at which you don't need to be in front of the computer there's no reason to be there it's very counterproductive and there's a quote everybody loved by Mark Boucher has been ranked the number-one money manager in the world what he says that is the 7020 rule of trading seventy percent of the moves happened twenty percent of the time so you don't need to be there all the way because only twenty percent of those times they're going to be the times when you want to trade so most people will spend all day trading have no reason to be there and there are even wasting time so much better with your prostrating is to only focus on twenty percent of the time that are the best for you that
